About Dustoff! Bike Covers

“Dustoff! Covers started manufacturing motorbike covers back in 1995.
Owning an upholstery cushion manufacturing company and racing in British Superbikes, Jon and Pauline Ward came up with the obvious idea to make some covers for their racing Ducati. These were soon spotted around the paddock and we were approached by the McCulloch race team to make some covers for them. These were made in a bright yellow cotton fabric with McCulloch branding on the side. Although they looked the part, we soon realised that the cotton material was not suitable, as it absorbed moisture and became damp when stored in a cool garage. After further investigation we developed our breathable polyester fabric, which was much more suitable for the product.

As the covers became more popular with race teams, we decided to take a stand at the Ally Pally London Exhibition. This proved a great success, selling out our stock on the second day!

Since then Dust Off! covers has made many thousands of covers, which are shipped to motorcycle owners all over the world. We have supplied covers to major manufacturers including Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda and Norton and special designs for retailers and race teams – from Club racers to MotoGP.
